About The Oxford Secondary School
The Oxford Secondary School is a 40-year-old Co-Educational English Medium School located in the heart of Nandini Layout, Bengaluru. Our aim is to provide the best of both Western and Indian systems of education to our students. We strive to create a learning environment that is engaging, challenging, and supportive.
Principal's Message
M r. Ajit Prabhu is one of the founder as well as the Principal of the school. Holder of five Batchelor & master degrees in law, arts education, journalism, engineering and business management, he is a strict disciplinarian and a committed teacher.
Our Principal believes that all children are geniuses provided they are given proper guidance not only in education but also in other areas of life. In our Principal's words 'It is our aim that every child develops their full potential and the curriculum is delivered with these aims in mind. Our planning ensures that pupils have a wide range of experiences that inform, excite and prepare them for the next stage of their schooling and which provide a foundation for life-long learning'.
Each year our school is well represented in a wide and varied range of sporting and extra-curricular activities for which our principal is the main motivator. Several facilities including car newly refurbished computer laboratory, science laboratory, library, our general classrooms our new play school and day care centre adds to this ambition of providing quality education.

SCHOOL HISTORY
Oxford Secondary School was founded in the year 1975 in Vijayanagar, Bangalore by a group of young educationists, engineers, advocates and social activists with an intention of providing quality education.
Though the school started in a rented building with only 25 children today it boasts of a huge population with one of the most beautiful campus and buildings in Nandini Layout, Bangalore.

As Head Mistress, I would view my most important responsibility as in ensuring that all students can come to Oxford and reach their highest potential in a safe, secure teaching and learning environment.

Our students are supported by our guidance and care teams who are there for them at all times. We believe that our students are well equipped with life skills for a bright future.
